Job summary

We are seeking a Diplomate ECVIM – Internal Medicine to join AniCura Drechtstreek, part of Mars Petcare, in a high-volume referral setting with diverse, complex cases. You will work with specialists across disciplines, have the independence to make clinical decisions, and share knowledge within a collaborative team of seasoned veterinarians and European experts.

Qualifications

• Diplomate ECVIM – Internal Medicine or equivalent parking required.
• Experience in a high-volume referral setting with complex cases.
• Willingness to supervise and train residents.

Responsibilities

• Lead specialist consultations and complex diagnostics.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for multisystem and urgent cases.
• Provide expert input across disciplines (Imaging, Cardiology, Neurology, Surgery, Dermatology, Oncology and ECC).
• Participate in patient admission, monitoring and outcome evaluation.
• Collaborate with a team of veterinarians and European specialists while maintaining independent clinical decision-making.
