Job summary

Panda International is seeking a Subject Matter Expert to lead the digital transformation of GMP-regulated laboratory processes in Leiden. You will convert paper-based workflows to digital methods, design and maintain LIMS templates, and support master data and validation activities across sites.

Responsibilities include LIMS configuration, change control, technical documentation, operator training, troubleshooting, and integrating LIMS with instruments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemical, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Analytical Testing, IT, or Laboratory Operations.
• Experience in regulated pharmaceutical/biotechnology/Advanced Therapies environments.
• Proven experience with digital laboratory systems and LIMS.
• Strong understanding of laboratory processes and digitisation of workflows.
• Experience creating or managing digital laboratory methods or workflows.
• Experience with master data, method templates, or similar LIMS configuration activities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Support deployment, maintenance, and harmonization of digital laboratory systems.
• Convert paper-based methods into digital workflows and develop method execution templates in LIMS.
• Support master data and validation activities and align with digital lab standards.
• Implement digital methods, configure LIMS, and provide change-control support.
• Maintain technical documentation and validate master data.
• Train laboratory operators and troubleshoot LIMS–instrument interfaces.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemical, Life Sciences, or another relevant technical discipline
