Job summary

Flow Traders in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Quantitative Researcher to join our Digital Assets team. You will develop and deploy quantitative strategies, pricing and execution models, and work with Trading and Technology to bring research into production.

The role requires 3+ years in systematic trading and a proven track record of profitable strategies, with deep knowledge of markets, market microstructure, and large-scale data.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in systematic trading.
• Proven track record of profitable trading or systematic market-making strategies.
• Understanding of financial markets, electronic trading, and market microstructure.
• Experience translating quantitative methods into profitable trading strategies.
• Experience with large-scale market datasets and high-performance computing.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Quantitative Researcher to join our Digital Assets business. This is a unique opportunity to expand our Digital Assets trading capabilities by leveraging Flow Traders' cutting-edge research and quantitative trading platform.

Responsibilities

• Identify our competitive advantages in Digital Assets markets and build quantitative strategies to convert them into actionable trading opportunities.
• Develop pricing and execution models and oversee their deployment in profitable, end-to-end quantitative trading strategies.
• Research and optimize systematic market-making strategies across Digital Assets products and venues.
• Collaborate with Trading and Technology to bring quantitative strategies from research into production.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in systematic trading.
• A proven track record of developing profitable trading or systematic market-making strategies.
• A nuanced understanding of financial markets, electronic trading, and market microstructure.
• Demonstrated success translating modern quantitative methods into profitable trading strategies.
• Experience working with large-scale market datasets, machine-learning operations frameworks, and high-performance computing.
• Excellent communication skills and experience managing stakeholders across Trading and Technology.
• A strategic vision for the role of machine learning and AI in the future of algorithmic trading.
