Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
DHL is hiring a warehouse worker in the Dordrecht area. You will sort parcels on the conveyor and place them into roll cages for sorting and dispatch. You will sometimes lift heavier parcels with a colleague and follow safety procedures to ensure on-time delivery.
Requirements include being at least 18, speaking Dutch or English, and living near Dordrecht or nearby cities. Availability is 3–4 days per week, with a base wage and shift differentials noted in the posting.
As a warehouse employee at DHL, you help sort parcels and make sure each parcel ends up in the right place. Thanks to your work, parcels are sorted on time and delivered to customers.
You can start by placing parcels onto the conveyor belt so they can be sorted, or by taking sorted parcels off the belt and placing them in a roll cage. Later, DHL gives you the opportunity to learn and carry out other tasks in the warehouse.
Please note: parcels can weigh up to 25 kg. Most parcels are lighter, but heavier parcels sometimes occur. You always lift these together with a colleague.
You can work across a maximum of two different shifts.
