YorTeam B.V. in Amsterdam seeks a DevOps Engineer to advance GitLab CI/CD adoption across regions within a leading financial services client. You’ll design pipelines, migrate Jenkins/Bitbucket, and integrate security tooling while enabling scalable, automated software delivery.

You’ll work hands-on with OpenShift/Kubernetes, AWS and Python/Bash scripts, partnering with security and platform teams to raise delivery standards and governance.

Competenze

• Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and templates.
• Experience with Jenkins, including migrations to GitLab CI/CD.
• Strong knowledge of Git, branching strategies, merge requests and modern development workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and/or Kubernetes, Docker and containerized delivery.
• Experience with Python and/or Bash scripting and AWS knowledge.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including security scanning and secure CI/CD controls.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will join the Development Services team of a leading financial institution, helping development teams modernize and standardize the way software is built, tested and deployed. You will play a key role in the adoption of GitLab CI/CD across multiple development teams and regions, including the migration of existing Jenkins and Bitbucket-based CI/CD environments to GitLab. This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong focus on CI/CD automation, reusable pipeline standards, container platforms and DevSecOps.

Your Job

• Design, build and maintain standardized GitLab CI/CD pipelines and reusable templates across multiple development teams.
• Support and execute migrations from Jenkins and Bitbucket to GitLab CI/CD, while introducing modern Git workflows and development practices.
• Integrate pipelines with artifact repositories, security scanners and observability tooling, including SAST, DAST and dependency scanning.
• Deploy and support containerized applications on Red Hat OpenShift / Kubernetes and cloud environments such as AWS.
• Automate CI/CD and deployment processes using Python and Bash, and troubleshoot complex pipeline and integration issues.
• Ensure software delivery processes meet security, compliance and audit requirements within a regulated enterprise environment.
• Support development teams with GitLab onboarding, migrations, documentation, technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with developers, platform engineers, security teams and stakeholders across multiple regions to continuously improve the developer experience.

Your Profile

You are an experienced DevOps / CI/CD Engineer with a strong engineering mindset and a passion for automation, standardization and modern software delivery.

You bring:

• Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, including building and maintaining pipelines and reusable templates.
• Experience with Jenkins, preferably including Jenkins-to-GitLab CI/CD migrations.
• Strong knowledge of Git, branching strategies, merge requests and modern development workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and/or Kubernetes, Docker and containerized application delivery.
• Experience with Python and/or Bash scripting and working knowledge of AWS.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including security scanning and secure CI/CD controls.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments, with strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder-management skills.
• A relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
