Job summary

AutoZone is hiring a Delivery Driver to support commercial customers and DIY shoppers. You’ll operate company-provided vehicles, ensure safe, timely deliveries, and handle loading/unloading with care. The role emphasizes customer service, safety compliance, and accurate fulfillment in a fast-paced retail environment.

Minimum age 18, valid license, basic automotive knowledge, and ability to lift and move parts are required. Spanish/English skills preferred; Hazmat not essential.

• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! customer service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
• Collaborate with store personnel and commercial accounts to ensure strong customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations and meet time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers; load/unload per route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Adhere to PPE and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
• Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Stay updated on promotions and products through AutoZone systems; maintain delivery vehicles and report issues promptly.
