Job summary

PA Consulting in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced Managing Consultant to lead engagements in Public Service and Defence, drive business development and work with international teams to expand market presence. You will guide strategy, governance and delivery across complex defence programmes while mentoring colleagues and building strong client relationships.

The role requires deep sector knowledge, Dutch and English fluency, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven track record leading consulting engagements and delivering results.
Fluent in Dutch and English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead consulting engagements with defence organisations, overseeing delivery end to end.
Provide strategic advice on defence policy, capability development and operations.
Analyze client requirements and develop tailored solutions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design strategies and technologies.
Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to build trust and credibility.
Monitor developments in defence policy, technology and security threats.
Mentor junior consultants and support professional growth.
Develop commercially viable consulting market offerings and expand client accounts.
Work with international GTM teams to develop propositions and enter new markets.
Lead and deliver large, complex projects.
Coordinate mixed consulting and client teams across engagements.
