Job summary

flatexDEGIRO SE in Amsterdam is looking for a Database Administrator (PostgreSQL) to join our international team. You will maintain and optimize PostgreSQL databases, ensure data integrity, automate tasks, and collaborate closely with developers to tune queries and schemas.

You have a degree in CS or related field, deep PostgreSQL expertise, strong SQL skills, and experience with backup/recovery and performance tuning. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and experience in administering relational databases.
• Solid experience with SQL and database design.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies and performance tuning in PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Ansible is a plus, but not required.
• Linux knowledge is an advantage.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python) is a plus.
• Strong team spirit, analytical thinking, and a structured approach to work.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
