Job summary

Jobtailor in Amsterdam is seeking a skilled ML/AI engineer to design and deploy machine learning, NLP, and generative AI systems for scientific discovery and knowledge extraction. You will work with large-scale text datasets, knowledge graphs, and metadata, applying classical ML, deep learning, embeddings, and LLM-based approaches to build end-to-end solutions.

Strong Python, data handling, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with structured, semi‑structured, or unstructured data, especially large‑scale text datasets
• Familiarity with tools such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit‑learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Matplotlib
• Ability to translate complex problems into practical, data‑driven solutions
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills with attention to quality
