Job summary

Harnham in Eindhoven is seeking a Data Scientist to design, develop and deploy scalable machine learning models in a production environment. You will work with data scientists, engineers and product teams to turn complex datasets into measurable business value.

You will apply statistical methods, time series analysis and ML techniques, collaborate across teams, and contribute to data products that influence strategic decisions while embracing MLOps practices and modern cloud platforms.

Qualifications

  • Strong commercial experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Statistical Modelling.
  • Advanced Python programming skills and production-quality code.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical modelling, regression techniques, and time series analysis.
  • Experience developing and deploying machine learning models into production environments.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large data sets.
  • Familiarity with MLOps concepts and model lifecycle management.
  • Experience using version control tools such as Git.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, Bayesian modelling, or modern data platforms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain statistical and ML models in Python and production environments.
  • Build predictive models, time series forecasts, and clustering models.
  • Apply advanced statistics to solve business challenges.
  • Deploy models into scalable production environments and support MLOps.
  • Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources using SQL/NoSQL.
  • Collaborate with Engineers and Product teams to enhance data products and capabilities.
  • Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and communicate findings.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of modelling frameworks and standards.
