Job summary

Sia is seeking a Data Science Consultant to join the Amsterdam Data Science team. You will collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Consultants on client projects, applying advanced analytics and GenAI to solve complex business problems.

You will extract insights, develop ML models, and present results to clients while participating in multidisciplinary, international projects. Fluency in English and Dutch is required, with strong programming and cloud exposure valued.

Qualifications

• MA/MSc in a technical field with substantial programming.
• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficient in Python and at least one analytical language (R/SQL).
• Strong knowledge of ML, optimization, and Generative AI.
• Interest in data/AI topics; cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP) a plus.
• Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Consultants on client projects.
• Develop statistical models, optimization solutions, and ML techniques.
• Apply Generative AI and large language models to create solutions.
• Present analytical results clearly and assist client workshops.
