Job summary

Sia is seeking a Data Science Consultant in Amsterdam to join a diverse Data Science team. You will collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Consultants on client projects to apply advanced analytics, ML, and GenAI techniques to business problems.

You will present results, support client workshops, and continuously grow in a multidisciplinary, entrepreneurial environment with flexible hours and international project opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical field with substantial programming.
• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Solid coding in Python and at least one analytical language (R/SQL).
• Strong interest in data, AI topics, and helping clients seize opportunities.
• Knowledge of ML techniques, optimization, and Generative AI.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; additional languages are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Consultants on client projects.
• Develop statistical models, optimization solutions, and ML techniques.
• Apply Generative AI and large language models to create innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

As a Data Science Consultant, you will collaborate with our Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Consultants on various client projects in multidisciplinary teams. You will use advanced analytics, machine learning, and GenAI techniques to solve complex business problems and deliver impactful solutions.

Responsibilities Include

• Collaborate with colleagues to identify business challenges and extract actionable insights from data.


• Develop and implement statistical models, optimization solutions, and advanced machine learning techniques.


• Apply Generative AI and large language models to create innovative solutions.


• Clearly present analytical results and assist in facilitating client workshops.

Qualifications

• Completed WO Master's degree in Data Science, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, (Energy) Engineering, or a related technical field involving substantial programming.


• 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience.


• Strong coding skills in Python and at least one additional analytical language (e.g., R, SQL).


• You have a strong interest in data and AI-related topics, the ability to quickly build expertise in these areas, and you’re excited about helping our clients seize the opportunities they offer.


• Solid knowledge of Machine Learning techniques, optimization methods, and Generative AI.


• Previous exposure or interest in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.


• Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and oral. Additional languages are considered advantageous.
