Job summary

Manychat is seeking a Data Engineer to strengthen its data platform by designing and maintaining infrastructure that supports autonomous team pipelines and reliable datasets for analytics and AI at global scale.

You will explore new data tools, contribute to data quality and security, and collaborate with Analysts, ML Scientists, and Engineers to unlock fresh insights. Hybrid onboarding and relocation support are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Data Engineering, with a strong focus on platform and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with cloud and data infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Snowflake, Redis).
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Follows new developments in data ecosystem and tests new tools for value.
• Familiarity with modern data tools such as dbt, Dagster, Prefect, and data observability/cataloguing platforms.
• Strong SQL expertise for large-scale querying and optimization and ETL/ELT pipeline design.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and data warehouse architectures.
• Experience implementing DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data infrastructure to empower teams to build pipelines and data products.
• Explore emerging data tools and technologies and balance innovation with practicality.
• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and delivery of data.
• Implement monitoring, governance, and best practices for data quality, security, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Analysts, ML Scientists, and Engineers to deliver structured datasets for insights.
• Experiment with advanced data modelling and analytical techniques to improve system capabilities.
