Job summary

Us3 Ltd is seeking a Data Translator / Data Engineer in the Netherlands (Utrecht) to bridge marketing needs with technical data solutions. You will translate marketing requirements into data points, build data models with SQL, Databricks and DBT, and collaborate with marketing, analytics and engineering teams to enable targeted campaigns.

You will contribute to data quality and governance while applying a practical, business-driven approach to data engineering and user requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience with SQL or a comparable programming language.
• Understanding of data modelling and data engineering principles.
• Understanding of marketing processes and how marketers use customer data.
• Ability to translate business and functional requirements into technical logic.
• Strong analytical, logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Confident stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Good command of English and an open, collaborative mindset.

About the role

As a Data Translator / Data Engineer, you will bridge the gap between marketing and technical teams. You will translate marketing requirements into customer attributes, data points and technical logic, ensuring the right data is available to support targeted and personalised marketing campaigns.

Working in a multidisciplinary team, you will use SQL, Databricks and DBT to turn business needs into practical data solutions.
