Job summary

A major construction company is seeking a Site Engineer in the Netherlands to ensure quality control and site management within their Data Centre Team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering and at least three years' experience in a project-based environment. Responsibilities include setting out works, liaising with planners, and conducting quality checks. The position offers a competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years post-qualification experience within the sector or project-based environment.
• Articulate and numerate with ability to produce objective and persuasive reports.
• Experience across a range of trades including piling, geotechnical, substructures, superstructures and facades.

Responsibilities

• Set out works in line with drawings, specifications and site surveys.
• Liaise with planners to align programmes and supplier outputs.
• Conduct regular audits of DPD compliance and performance across projects.

Skills

Engineering principles and technical coordination

Setting out and proficient in using total stations

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Problem-solving ability

Education

Degree or Diploma in Engineering

SMSTS or MSIC certification

First Aid training

Lifting Supervisor certification

Temporary Works Coordinator training
