Job summary

Google LLC in Eemshaven, Netherlands is hiring a Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from planning to completion. You will coordinate requirements, schedules, risks and communications across cross-functional partners globally, with onsite execution at the data center level.

The AI and Infrastructure team drives cutting-edge AI models and hyperscale computing, delivering reliable, scalable platforms and services for Googlers and Google Cloud customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program, project management, data center operations, or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Site Technical Lead and partner teams onsite to implement site-specific technical strategies.
• Oversee project schedules and delivery for intricate deployments across multiple domains.
• Support the site in delivering SLOs and provide early warnings for delays.
• Orchestrate the Rhythm of Business and status updates for site management and global leads.
• Develop a framework for program enhancement using data-driven insights and industry standards.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program, project management, data center operations (e.g., facilities/operations management, capacity planning, or site operations), or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, performing statistical analysis.
• Experience with technical integration, system integration, risk mitigation, deployment planning, or data center operations.

Preferred qualifications:

• Professional certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PgMP).
• Ability to identify key issues, gather and analyze large data sets to support hypotheses, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Ability to be creative, non-standard, and develop innovative solutions using data and analytics to drive impact.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to create workable project plans including project scope.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

• Collaborate with the Site Technical Lead and partner teams onsite to implement site-specific technical strategies, monitor milestone achievement throughout the data center lifecycle, and own site-wide execution tracking to drive site-wide milestone convergence throughout the site lifecycle.
• Oversee project schedules and delivery for intricate deployments, ensuring seamless coordination and convergence with data center facilities, server operations, logistics, networking, security, construction, EHS, and other key partner organizations.
• Support the site in delivering Service Level Objectives (SLOs), providing early warnings on potential delays. Partner in proactive identification and resolution of anticipated challenges.
• Orchestrate the integrated Rhythm of Business (RoB), regular business communications and status updates for site management, Area Leads, and the Global Site Tech Lead Program Owner.
• Develop and uphold a framework for program enhancement by utilizing data-driven insights, historical project reviews, and evolving industry standards.
