Job summary

Jobster in Amsterdam is seeking a Data Center Engineer to maintain UPS and backup power in Europe’s densest data-center cluster near Schiphol-Rijk. You replace battery modules, measure voltage and conductance, pull and label cables, and record activities with precision.

The role, based in Amsterdam, requires 40 hours per week, full-time and willingness to travel across Benelux and beyond. Candidates should have an electrical engineering background and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• MBO 3 Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of UPS and backup power systems.
• Willing to obtain NEN 3140 VP and VCA VOL if not present.
• Driver's license B.

Responsibilities

• Replace battery modules, measure voltage and conductance, pull and label cables and record what you did.
• Work around Amsterdam data centers with occasional travel to Frankfurt or Brussels, ensuring documentation is precise.
