Job summary
Puffy is seeking a data analytics professional to own the end-to-end experimentation program. Qualifications
- 3+ years in data analysis, experimentation, or CRO within ecommerce or high-traffic sites.
- Strong SQL — complex joins, window functions, and CTEs.
- Python (or R) for data manipulation, statistics, and automation.
- Proven A/B testing experience — hypothesis design through analysis to business recommendation.
- Hands-on GA4 experience — event tracking, explorations, tying GA4 data to other sources.
- Experience integrating Google Ads and Meta data with site analytics.
- Ability to connect to multiple data sources (APIs, warehouses, flat files) without engineering support.
- Analytical communication — distilled findings and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive and curious — spot testing opportunities and root causes.

If you spend your days running A/B tests, analyzing conversion funnels, and digging into why users drop off before checkout — and you write your own SQL and Python to get those answers — this role is built for you. General analysts and program managers without hands-on technical and experimentation skills won't be a fit.
You’ll own Puffy’s experimentation program from hypothesis to business recommendation. You pull data from Shopify, GA4, Google Ads, and BigQuery yourself. You design the test, run the statistical analysis, and tell the business what to change and why. Every recommendation you deliver has to be clear enough that marketing, UX, and development can act on it the same week.
Puffy runs a high volume of experiments across a $1B+ e-commerce platform. You’ll be involved in more A/B tests, conversion analyses, and data pipeline builds in your first year than most analysts see in three. You’ll work across departments — marketing, UX, development, operations — which means broader context and faster pattern recognition. The pace is demanding, and it rewards people who are genuinely curious and want to sharpen their craft quickly.

- Hands‑on GA4 experience — event‑based tracking, custom explorations, and the ability to tie GA4 data to other sources
- Experience integrating ad platform data (Google Ads, Meta) with site analytics to see the full acquisition‑to‑conversion funnel
- Ability to independently connect to and pull from multiple data sources (APIs, warehouses, flat files) without engineering support
- Sharp analytical communication — complex findings distilled into concise recommendations for non‑technical stakeholders
- Proactive and curious — you spot testing opportunities and chase root causes before anyone asks
- Experience with BigQuery or AWS data warehousing, including scheduled queries and data modeling
- Familiarity with session replay and heatmap tools (FullStory, Hotjar) for qualitative behavioral analysis
- Background in Looker, Tableau, or similar dashboarding tools
