Job summary

Oakwell Hampton Group is seeking a hands-on Data Analyst to join our Dutch digital platform team in Breda. You will work closely with the product team to uncover insights across the platform, translating findings into practical product changes.

This is a hybrid role with a minimum of three days in the office, central location near the station. You'll analyze user behaviour, dive into data, and own analytical challenges, collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to influence product decisions

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills and ability to work directly with data.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the confidence to investigate complex problems.
• Experience working with SQL and structured datasets, ideally with an understanding of data models and gold-layer tables.
• An interest in product analytics, including user behaviour and event data.
• A pragmatic mindset: able to make informed decisions and deliver actionable insights quickly.
• Proactive collaboration with colleagues to drive improvements.
• Dutch language skills are a plus but not required.

Minimum 3 Days Per Week in the Office

Want to use data to influence how a digital product develops?

I'm working with an established Dutch digital platform that's expanding into a new flexible temp-work offering, connecting people with opportunities through a more dynamic and accessible platform.

They're looking for a hands-on Data Analyst to work closely with the product team, uncover what's happening across the platform and identify opportunities to improve how it performs.

This isn't a role where you'll simply build dashboards and report on historical performance. You'll investigate problems, explore user behaviour, work directly with the underlying data and help translate your findings into practical changes that improve the product.

You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of your analysis, work closely with technical colleagues and make a tangible difference to how the platform evolves.

What we're looking for

• Strong Python skills and the ability to work directly with data.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the confidence to investigate complex problems and identify practical solutions.
• Experience working with SQL and structured datasets, ideally with an understanding of data models and gold-layer tables.
• An interest in product analytics, including user behaviour, event data and understanding how people interact with digital platforms.
• A pragmatic mindset: comfortable making informed decisions, prioritising speed and delivering actionable insights without overcomplicating the analysis.
• A proactive approach to collaboration, with the confidence to engage colleagues, challenge assumptions and drive improvements.
• Experience with Databricks is beneficial, but not essential if you're willing to learn.
• Experience in a Dutch company is important. Dutch language skills are a plus, but not a requirement.
