Job summary

ESA Security Office in Noordwijk is offering an internship in the Cyber Internal Audit Section. You will contribute to security assurance and risk management for ESA programmes while researching AI cybersecurity frameworks and supporting integration with the Cyber Internal Audit Framework across ESA’s supply chain.

The role emphasizes gaining experience in cybersecurity standards (ISO 2700x series, NIST guidelines) and auditing practices within a space-sector context.

Qualifications

• Must be a university student in Master’s level and enrolled for the entire duration.
• Good knowledge of English or French; knowledge of another ESA language is an asset.
• Basic knowledge of information security and auditing is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the security assurance process and cybersecurity risk management for ESA's programmes.
• Research and analyse AI cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., FAICP, ISO/IEC 42001:2023, NIST AI RMF).
• Assist in the analysis and design of integration with the current Cyber Internal Audit Framework across ESA programs.
