Booking.com is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel - Cyber to join its growing Legal team. You will advise on cybersecurity, privacy, and data protection issues, working directly with business clients, security, and fintech teams to manage high-priority risks.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in a reputable law firm or in-house team with hands-on experience in cybersecurity laws and data security compliance.
• Knowledge of cyber-risk and enterprise technology.
• Deep understanding of GDPR and its applications to technology and security.
• Fluency in English; Dutch a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner on the management of cybersecurity incidents within a cross-functional unit.
• Advise on regulatory compliance with global cybersecurity and privacy regulations.
• Provide practical and risk-based legal advice for cybersecurity frameworks and policies.
• Mentor junior counsels and collaborate with peers and managers.
• Collaborate with the Data Protection Officer, Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance, and external counsel.
