Job summary

OOCL Logistics Rotterdam seeks a Customs Declarant for its Customs House Brokerage department. You manage all customs documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments and act as the main contact for customers on customs matters from our Rotterdam office.

Responsibilities

• Managing and controlling all customs documentation.
• Maintaining contacts with Customs Offices, inspection agencies, and customers.
• Submitting objections, adjustments and corrections, and timely refunds.
• Gathering information for correct preparation of customs documentation.
• Checking data accuracy and identifying irregularities in customs.
• Preparing VAT returns and processing statistical data.
