Job summary

Dornan Engineering Group in Amsterdam seeks an experienced CSA Project Manager to lead large-scale data centre delivery across Europe. • Degree qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related construction discipline.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in a Project Manager position within the construction industry.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale CSA packages on data centre or similar complex projects.
• Experience managing €30 million+ packages and multi-phase campus developments.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of CSA delivery across large-scale data centre projects from mobilisation through handover.
• Lead site teams, engineers, supervisors and CSA subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient execution.
• Drive programme performance to meet milestones and client expectations.
• Coordinate with MEP, commissioning, design and client teams for seamless delivery.
• Monitor costs, forecasting, change management and financial performance with the commercial team.
• Chair progress, coordination and client meetings; track actions to closure.
• Review design information, identify risks and resolve technical queries efficiently.
• Lead logistics, resource planning and procurement to support programme needs.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Produce regular project reports and performance metrics for senior management.

Project Manager - CSA

Dornan Engineering Group is a leading international engineering contractor delivering high-value projects across Europe, UK & Ireland. Based in Amsterdam, Dornan are seeking an experienced CSA Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale data centre projects across Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, commercial, and successful execution of all Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) works from pre-construction through to handover. Working as part of an integrated project leadership team, you will manage site operations, subcontractors, client relationships, programme delivery, quality standards, and financial performance on high-value mission-critical projects.

Your day will include:

• Taking full ownership of CSA delivery across large-scale data centre projects from mobilisation through to handover.
• Leading and managing site teams, engineers, supervisors and key CSA subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
• Driving programme performance and ensuring all works are delivered in line with project milestones and client expectations.
• Coordinating closely with MEP, commissioning, design and client teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Managing subcontractor performance, productivity, quality and safety across multiple work fronts.
• Monitoring and controlling project costs, forecasting, change management and commercial performance alongside the commercial team.
• Chairing regular progress, coordination and client meetings, ensuring actions are tracked and closed out.
• Reviewing design information, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring technical queries are resolved efficiently.
• Leading site logistics, resource planning and procurement activities to support programme requirements.
• Ensuring the highest standards of health & safety, quality assurance and compliance are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Producing regular project reports, progress updates and performance metrics for senior management and key stakeholders.
• Managing testing, inspections, snagging, close-out and handover activities, ensuring a smooth transition to the client.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships while acting as the primary CSA lead throughout the project.
• Driving a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and operational excellence across the project team.

Who We Are Looking For:

Experience & Background

• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related construction discipline.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in a Project Manager position within the construction industry.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale CSA packages on data centre, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, industrial or similar complex construction projects.
• Experience managing projects or packages valued in excess of €30 million.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project planning, commercial management and project controls.
• Demonstrated experience leading large multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractor workforces.
• Strong client-facing experience with the ability to build lasting relationships and manage key stakeholders effectively.
• Experience managing programme delivery in fast-paced environments with demanding schedules and multiple interfaces.
• Previous data centre experience is highly desirable.
• Experience working on multi-phase campus developments would be advantageous.
