Job summary

Mercury is seeking a CSA Construction Manager to lead coordination of civil, structural and architectural work packages at a major Amsterdam site. You will manage safety, QA, scheduling and cost control with a strong team, delivering projects to Mercury’s high standards.

The role requires extensive experience with contractors, excellent planning and communication skills, and proficiency in Primavera and CAD/BIM tools. On-site leadership and collaboration with subcontractors are essential.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities Of The Role

• Manage the co-ordination of the Civil, Structural and Architectural work packages.
• Management of Site Safety in conjunction with Mercury Safety Advisor, including set up, management of and closing out of file
• Management of Site QA in conjunction with Mercury Project Manager and team including set up, management and close out of file
• Management of Project Schedule in conjunction with Planner, Project Managers, Sub-Contractors and consulting Engineer/Architect to Mercury Engineering and Client requirements
• Management of all costs associated with Project with the support of the project QS including:
• Labour
• Material
• Plant and Equipment
• Variations
• Valuations
• Management of all day-to-day site operations
• Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels. Ensure that there is a weekly minuted meeting with sub-contractor.
• Ensure all Sub-contractor documentation including safety documentation is maintained up to date and filed for future reference.
• Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings
• Close out of all project items including Final Account, O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant re-locations, Project Plan – all with the Support of your Project team
• Issue Daily Report to the Project Manager
• Issue weekly safety stats & project labour projections.
• Hold weekly commercial meetings with the commercial team to ensure all variations are being captured and costs issued to the client.
• Develop and implement company procedures with the project managers
• Ensure change management is handled correctly (Cost & Programme).
• Review drawings and setting out details
• Produce builders works drawings for services
• Carry out distribute & close out CSA snags
• All other duties associated with this role.

Belangrijkste Verantwoordelijkheden Van De Functie

• Het coördineren van de werkzaamheden op het gebied van civiele techniek, constructie en architectuur.
• Beheer van de veiligheid op de locatie in samenwerking met de veiligheidsadviseur van Mercury, inclusief het opzetten, beheren en afsluiten van dossiers
• Beheer van de kwaliteitsborging op locatie in samenwerking met de Mercury-projectmanager en het team, inclusief het opzetten, beheren en afsluiten van dossiers
• Beheer van de projectplanning in samenwerking met de planner, projectmanagers, onderaannemers en de adviserende ingenieur/architect, conform de eisen van Mercury Engineering en de klant
• Beheer van alle kosten die verband houden met het project, met ondersteuning van de projectkostenadviseur (QS), inclusief:
• Werk
• Materiaal
• Installaties en apparatuur
• Variaties
• Waardebepalingen
• Beheer van alle dagelijkse werkzaamheden op de locatie
• Het beheren van de activiteiten van onderaannemers, inclusief het bijhouden van de voortgang ten opzichte van de planning en de personeelsbezetting. Zorg ervoor dat er wekelijks een vergadering met de onderaannemer plaatsvindt, waarvan de notulen worden vastgelegd.
• Zorg ervoor dat alle documentatie van onderaannemers, inclusief veiligheidsdocumentatie, actueel is en wordt gearchiveerd voor toekomstig gebruik.
• Aanwezigheid bij bouwvergaderingen, interne projectevaluaties, technische evaluaties, plannings- en coördinatievergaderingen en overdrachtsvergaderingen
• Alle projectonderdelen afronden, inclusief eindafrekening, bedienings- en onderhoudshandleidingen, opleveringslijst, veiligheidsdossier, kwaliteitscontroledossier, verplaatsing van materialen en installaties, projectplan – dit alles met de ondersteuning van uw projectteam
• Rapporteer dagelijks aan de projectmanager
• Publiceer wekelijks veiligheidsstatistieken en projectarbeidsprognoses.
• Houd wekelijks commerciële vergaderingen met het commerciële team om ervoor te zorgen dat alle wijzigingen worden vastgelegd en de kosten aan de klant worden doorberekend.
• Ontwikkel en implementeer bedrijf in samenwerking met de projectmanagers
• Zorg ervoor dat verandermanagement correct wordt uitgevoerd (kosten en planning).
• Bekijk de tekeningen en de details van de uitzetting
• Het opstellen van bouwkundige tekeningen voor installaties
• Voer de distributie en afhandeling van CSA-problemen uit
• Alle overige taken die bij deze functie horen.
