Job summary

Gemeente Maastricht is seeking a Project Manager for the Interreg Meuse-Rhine programme. You will coordinate cross-border cooperation across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, assess project applications, and guide their implementation to deliver measurable results.

The appointment is a one-year, 0.5 FTE contract with a gross monthly salary of €4,513–€6,369, plus an Individual Choice Budget, a training budget and ABP pension.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of work experience at bachelor level, preferably with European-funded (cross-border) programs or projects.
• Proven experience managing projects, both content-wise and financially.
• Fluent in English, both speaking and writing; knowledge of at least one programme language (French, German or Dutch).

Responsibilities

• Assess project applications for impact and financial feasibility.
• Prepare decisions relating to subsidy granting.
• Guide project implementation, monitor progress through reports and site visits.
• Implement project modifications when needed.
• Coordinate knowledge exchange with other Project Managers and colleagues.
