Job summary

Packit is seeking a Communications Officer to develop and coordinate internal and external communication. You will create catchy content, from text to image, and support campaigns that strengthen our brand identity. You will collaborate with photographers, videographers and website builders and contribute to campaigns and events from Oud-Beijerland.

You will work closely with colleagues and external partners, and manage social media, newsletters and press contacts in both Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in communication, journalism or marketing.
• Experience in writing content and managing communication channels.
• Creative, articulate and digitally savvy – works with CMSs, social media and graphic tools.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva is a plus.
• Good command of Dutch and English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Writing and editing texts for web, social media, newsletters and brochures.
• Developing visual and textual content in line with our brand identity.
• Managing and monitoring social media channels and creating content calendars.
• Providing internal communication such as newsletters and employee updates.
• Supporting marketing campaigns and events.
• Writing and sending press releases and maintaining press contacts.
