Job summary

CHEP in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our busy yard operations. You’ll operate 4.5-ton triple‑fork FLTs to load and unload HGVs and move pallet stacks, ensuring safe, efficient handling in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires an external FLT licence (RTITB/ITSSAR preferred) and prior yard experience; double/triple fork operation is a big advantage. You’ll report issues promptly and support production and haulier schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Counterbalance FLT Driver in a busy yard.
• External FLT licence (RTITB or ITSSAR) preferred; in‑house licences considered.
• Experience with double/triple fork FLTs is a big advantage.
• Safety‑conscious, reliable, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate FLT trucks to support production & haulier operations
• Direct visiting vehicles during loading & unloading
• Maintain smooth flow on production lines within agreed SLAs
• Assist with manual inspection & repair of equipment in the yard
• Report any damage or operational issues promptly
• Handle and rotate stock safely and efficiently
