Over Catharinahof

Catharinahof is not only a residential care location but also a meeting place in the heart of Grave. There is always something to do here. Together with the care staff, volunteers, and family, we make every day as pleasant as possible!

Here you will work

At Catharinahof, upon entering, you immediately see the spacious and cozy restaurant where residents, staff, and visitors drink coffee and eat together. When the weather is nice, everyone sits outside on the large terrace by the water. Children play in the corridor, volunteers read newspapers, and play games with residents. The building also houses a daycare, pedicure, hairdresser, and a small shop.

What you will do

We make every day as pleasant as possible for clients by asking the right questions: what do you want, what can you do yourself, what do you need from me or others? You assist, care for, and nurse, especially with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and eating and drinking. You respect clients' routines and ensure they maintain as much independence as possible. By knowing them well, you create the right atmosphere and ensure a meaningful day.

You observe and signal how clients are doing and consult with colleagues when necessary. The team includes helpers, caregivers, and nurses. You also have frequent contact with doctors, therapists, volunteers, and your team manager. Collaborating with clients and family carers is natural for you. You are committed to good care and support, both practically and emotionally.

• A good pension scheme, 8% holiday pay, collective insurances, and a year-end bonus of 8.3% (a full 13th month);
• Immediately a permanent contract for the hours you wish to work per week;
• As a Verzorgende IG, a salary in FWG 35: minimum €2,542 and maximum €3,338 gross per month for a 36-hour week, according to the collective labor agreement for nursing homes and home care;
• As a Coördinerend Verzorgende IG, a salary in FWG 40: minimum €2,770 and maximum €3,590 gross per month for a 36-hour week, according to the same CAO;
• Choice of employment conditions with fiscal benefits, such as a laptop or bike scheme.
