Job summary

Advanced Finance Group is seeking a Controller / Senior Accountant to lead accounting operations for BeNeLux in a hands‑on, managerial role. You will supervise a small team, manage day‑to‑day accounting, tax, inventory, and reporting, reporting to the Regional GM and, functionally, to the Global Controller.

Key responsibilities include overseeing GL, AP/AR, payroll, taxes, inventory, and IAS reporting, with a focus on accuracy, internal controls, and intercompany consolidation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing at least one direct report.
• Solid knowledge of inventory accounting and cost allocation.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel.
• Strong understanding of local tax compliance (sales/use and annual filings).
• Familiarity with IAS and IFRS reporting and working with global HQ.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Controller / Senior Accountant to lead the accounting operations in the BeNeLux region. This is a hands‑on managerial role, ideal for a finance professional with strong experience in manufacturing, small team leadership and international (global) reporting.

Role

As the most senior accounting professional in the BeNeLux region, you’ll manage a small team and oversee all day‑to‑day accounting, tax, inventory, and reporting functions. You’ll report locally to the Regional GM and functionally to the Global Controller at headquarters.
