In this role you will be part of the HR Marine department. The HR Marine department is responsible for all HR matters for the personnel aboard the Anthony Veder fleet. Among other things, the HR Marine department is responsible for providing trained and motivated crew within AV's business requirements. You are responsible to ensure our vessels are manned with competent, motivated, and future-ready crew by implementing and maintaining a transparent and structured competence management system.
The Competence Manager plays a vital role in aligning seafarer development with organizational needs while ensuring motivation, performance, and long-term employability of our crew. With the objective to ensure that all vessels are manned in a way to maximize the ships’ utilization.
