Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Amsterdam offers a Commercial Strategy Intern position within Category Development. You’ll support category plans, connect Marketing, Sales, Finance and other functions, and gain ownership on assigned projects in a global business.

You’ll work with Meals & Taste Elevation teams, learn how cross-functional teams collaborate, and develop analytical skills through data-driven insights and market analyses. Internship starts Feb 2027 for six months.

Qualifications

• Current bachelor’s or master’s enrolment at a European university for at least 50% of the internship period.
• Strong written and verbal English skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Interest in category strategy, retail and data analysis.
• EU working rights required (EU Citizenship or studying in the Netherlands).

Responsibilities

• Lead the promo plan alignment with Sales and Revenue Growth Management.
• Track product and category performance to support retailer and channel strategy.
• Conduct regular market-share and performance analyses.
• Translate data into insights for the Trade Category Manager.
• Support the sell-out forecasting process.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to identify business opportunities.
