Job summary

GEODIS in Venlo zoekt een ervaren combitruck operator voor een fulltime positie met vaste dagdiensten. Je beweegt pallets en goederen, controleert opslaglocaties en zorgt voor een veilige, efficiënte belading en lossing.

Je hebt een geldig combitruck-certificaat, ervaring in logistiek, en werkt zelfstandig met aandacht voor nauwkeurigheid. Start People zorgt voor gelijke arbeidsvoorwaarden met GEODIS.

Qualifications

• Ervaring met het bedienen van een combitruck.
• Een geldig combitruck-certificaat.
• Ervaring in logistiek of magazijnwerk.
• Fulltime beschikbaar voor dagdiensten.
• Veilig en nauwkeurig werkgedrag.
• Kunt een Nederlandse VOG aanvragen (indien nodig).
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in Engels, Nederlands of Duits.

Responsibilities

• Bewegen en opslaan van pallets met een combitruck.
• Goederen op de juiste magazijnlocaties plaatsen.
• Laden/laden en controleren van inkomende en uitgaande goederen.
• Geïdentificeerde beschadigde goederen of overige meldingen.
• Collega’s ondersteunen met andere magazijnwerkzaamheden.

Wat je gaat doen

As a combitruck operator at GEODIS in Venlo, you'll spend most of your working day operating the truck. You'll make sure pallets and goods are moved safely and stored in the correct warehouse locations.

Do you have experience as a combitruck operator, forklift driver or reach truck operator? Then you know how important safety, accuracy and teamwork are in a busy warehouse.

What will you do?

• Move and store pallets using a combitruck;
• Place goods in the correct warehouse locations;
• Load, unload and check incoming and outgoing goods;
• Identify damaged goods or other issues;
• Support your colleagues with other warehouse tasks when needed.

You’ll work fixed day shifts:

• Usually from 09:00 to 18:00;
• Once every three weeks from 07:30 to 18:00.That means a predictable schedule and your evenings free!

What are we looking for?

• Experience operating a combitruck;
• A valid combitruck certificate;
• Previous experience in logistics or warehouse operations;
• Full-time availability for day shifts;
• A safe, independent and accurate working style;
• Ability to apply for a Dutch Certificate of Conduct (VOG);
• Good communication skills in English, Dutch or German.Experience with a forklift or reach truck is a plus, but your combitruck experience is what matters most.
