Job summary

As a Cloud Technical Engineer, you support customers in removing technical barriers during the tenant landing phase and beyond within the T-Systems Public Cloud environment.

You accelerate adoption by designing and building hands-on solutions, enabling integrations, and demonstrating platform capabilities in real customer environments.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and full cloud stack.
• Experience with cloud platforms comparable to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Deep understanding of the TCP/IP stack (core requirement).
• Strong networking knowledge (routing, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, connectivity patterns).
• Hands-on experience with APIs, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, scripting).
• Experience building demos, POCs, and rapid prototypes.
• Experience integrating cloud platforms into enterprise IT environments.
• Solid understanding of security, compliance, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into scalable cloud solutions within the T-Systems Public Cloud.
• Design and build hands-on demos, prototypes, and proofs of concept (POCs).
• Guide customers through tenant onboarding and landing zone setup.
• Identify technical, architectural, and organizational risks early and mitigate them.
• Support integrations between cloud environments and existing customer infrastructures (on-premise and hybrid).
• Collaborate closely with sales and solution teams while maintaining a strong technical focus.
• Accelerate customer adoption by removing implementation blockers.
• Contribute across the full lifecycle: discovery, design, implementation, and optimization.

Job Description

As a Cloud Technical Engineer, you support customers in removing technical barriers during the tenant landing phase and beyond within the T-Systems Public Cloud environment. You accelerate adoption by designing and building hands-on solutions, enabling integrations, and demonstrating platform capabilities in real customer environments.
This role requires a strong foundation in cloud technologies combined with a deep understanding of the TCP/IP stack, as networking is a core component of the platform and comparable in complexity to hyperscalers such as AWS.

Key Responsibilities:
