Job summary

Search X Recruitment is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to own the security posture of our Azure and Entra ID environment. You will harden the cloud estate with Defender for Cloud, Azure Policy, and secure landing zones, while managing identity and access within Entra ID, Conditional Access, PIM, RBAC, and secure app onboarding.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in cloud or information security.
• Solid hands-on Azure and Entra ID expertise.
• Bonus certifications: AZ-500, SC-200, SC-300, CCSP, CISSP or CISM.
• DevSecOps or IaC experience and PowerShell automation skills.
• Background in a regulated industry like pharma (GxP) is a plus.

That’s where your job will be as the Cloud Security Engineer. You own the security posture of the Azure and Entra ID environment, and you keep raising the bar. You harden the cloud estate with Defender for Cloud, Azure Policy, and secure landing zones, and you manage identity & access within Entra ID, Conditional Access, PIM, RBAC, and secure app onboarding, always guided by least privilege.
When an alert comes in, you dive into Microsoft Sentinel, correlate events using KQL and Log Analytics, and keep digging until you've found the root cause. You also lead security initiatives, from cloud hardening to monitoring and identity improvements, and coordinate pen testing. You work closely with SOC, IT, Architecture, and Risk & Compliance, with real room to set the course yourself.

What You Bring To The Table

You have 4 to 6 years of experience in cloud or information security, with solid hands-on Azure and Entra ID expertise. Identity and security operations are familiar territory, and you approach risk pragmatically rather than theoretically. You move easily between technical and non-technical stakeholders, and you're not afraid to ask the hard questions when needed.
Got a certification like AZ-500, SC-200, SC-300, or CCSP? That is a great bonus. Same goes for DevSecOps or IaC experience and PowerShell automation skills, a CISSP or CISM title, or a background in a regulated industry like pharma (GxP).
