Job summary

Swisscom is seeking an AWS Platform Security Engineer to think like an attacker and build like an engineer for our internal cloud platform. You will join an internal, distributed team and collaborate with platform engineers, DevOps and product owners across Swisscom.

You’ll perform offensive security assessments, penetration testing and red team exercises to harden iAWS and close gaps by coding and updating controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in offensive security including hands-on assessments and red team exercises.
• Ability to identify weaknesses in cloud platforms and drive remediation with engineering teams.
• Ability to write code and update controls to close security gaps.
• Experience advising platform and product teams on secure-by-default architecture.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with platform engineers, DevOps teams and product owners across Swisscom.
• Perform hands-on offensive security assessments, penetration testing and red team exercises.
• Identify weaknesses in iAWS and drive remediation with the engineers to close gaps.
• Act as a trusted security advisor, guiding teams to build securely from the ground up.
• Shape security practices across our ICP ART and collaborate with SOC.
