Job summary

Schuberg Philis is seeking a Cloud Engineer AWS to design, build, and maintain the AWS landing zone and cloud foundations for our clients. You will own the cloud infrastructure lifecycle, ensure security, scalability, and high availability using IaC and automation.

This hands-on role shapes the platform's future with new services and AWS innovations. You will collaborate in a Git-driven environment, work with AWS CDK/CloudFormation, Fargate and EKS, and mentor teammates on cloud best practices,

Qualifications

• Proven experience in AWS cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with IaC and automation.
• Strong Linux system administration skills.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and monitoring.
• Experience with container services (Fargate, EKS).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage AWS landing zones with CDK/CloudFormation.
• Operate containerized apps using Fargate/EKS ensuring scalable deployments.
• Automate tasks and pipelines with scripts and CI/CD processes.
• Monitor, log, and manage incidents to ensure platform stability.
• Guide team on cloud best practices and security.
• Collaborate in a Git-driven workflow with GitLab/GitHub.
