Job summary

The Princess Máxima Center is seeking a cloud/data engineer to help build the cloud data platform for RECOMBINE-X, an international AI-driven pediatric oncology project. You will integrate PBPK/PD data with our genomic infrastructure, develop dashboards, and enable flexible analysis through tools like R Shiny and Jupyter notebooks.

We offer a fulltime position (36 hours) with a competitive salary depending on experience, a cross-disciplinary environment, and collaboration with the R2 platform

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer science, data engineering, or a related field.
Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and Vertex AI.
Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and Linux; data warehouse design skills.
Ability to build dashboards and interactive analysis tools (R Shiny, Jupyter).

Responsibilities

Build the cloud data platform integrating PBPK/PD data with genomics infrastructure.
Develop fixed dashboards and interactive analysis interfaces using R Shiny and Jupyter.
Collaborate with RECOMBINE-X consortium and IT staff to enable data access.
Manage Google Cloud environment and define hosting/compute requirements.
Prepare for security audits and contribute to IT architecture.
