Job summary

Cytel in the Netherlands seeks an experienced R Automation and AI Solutions Developer to lead analytics and automation for client trials. You will collaborate with statisticians, programmers, data scientists, and AI leads to identify workflow improvements and mature prototypes into reusable, maintainable solutions.

You will define scope, build PoCs, use LLM-assisted coding and ensure compliance with regulated delivery, validation, and traceability.

Qualifications

• Strong R programming skills and experience with clinical data.
• Familiar with CDISC concepts and regulated delivery requirements.
• Experience building automation tools, R packages, Shiny apps or dashboards.
• Experience using LLMs for coding, documentation, and workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Interpret user requirements and identify practical workflow improvements.
• Define sensible scope for requests and deliver proof-of-concept tool.
• Build proof-of-concept tooling with R and LLM-assisted coding.

Position Overview:

Our R Automation and AI Solutions Developers provide analysis and automation support and influence for the associated client's trials. This role involves working closely with statisticians, programmers, data scientists, and AI/Automation leads to identify practical workflow improvement opportunities, provide proof-of-concept tools, and mature successful prototypes into documented, reusable, and maintainable solutions.

As an R Automation and AI Solutions Developer your responsibilities will include:
