At ASUS and Republic of Gamers (ROG), the customer experience comes to life wherever people discover, compare and buy our products. We are looking for a Channel Marketing Intern to support the operational execution of retailer marketing and consumer experience activities across the Benelux.
Embedded in the ASUS Benelux Marketing Team, you will work closely with the Channel Marketing Manager, Trade Marketing Specialist, Sales teams, agencies and retailer stakeholders. You will help maintain campaign calendars, retailer toolkits, execution trackers, store and product data, and recurring reports so that activities are implemented accurately and on time.
One day you may be checking product content on a retailer website or preparing campaign assets; the next, consolidating store-visit findings, supporting an activation or following up on POSM implementation. Your contribution will strengthen execution quality while giving you practical exposure to omnichannel marketing in an international technology environment.
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Marketing, Business, Retail Management or a related field.
- Commitment: Available for 32–40 hours per week.
- Duration: 6–12 months.
What You’ll Do
Support the day-to-day coordination, quality control and reporting of channel marketing activities across Benelux retailers and consumer touchpoints.
- Support the coordination and execution of online and offline retailer marketing activities, promotional campaigns and consumer activations.
- Maintain channel calendars, promotional schedules, activity trackers, store lists, product information and other recurring operational records.
- Collect campaign, product and retailer inputs from internal stakeholders and help prepare retailer toolkits using approved messages and assets.
- Track the delivery and implementation of POSM, store displays, digital retailer content and agreed campaign placements across relevant partners.
- Conduct regular quality checks of retailer websites, product pages and in-store execution, documenting issues and routing them to the responsible owner.
- Support retail activations, consumer events and field-force coordination, including preparation, logistics, documentation and follow-up actions.
Data, Reporting & Operational Support
- Consolidate store-visit, campaign, execution and retailer data into recurring reports and clear status overviews for the Channel Marketing team.
- Maintain organized records of assets, quotations, proof of execution, campaign documentation and meeting follow-up actions.
- Support meeting preparation, action tracking and stakeholder follow-up to help keep retailer activities and deliverables on schedule.
- Coordinate with Sales, agencies and internal marketing teams to obtain required information, while escalating strategic, budget or retailer-relationship decisions to the responsible manager.
Skills, Experience and Attributes
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and structured trackers; experience with reporting or data consolidation is an advantage.
- A clear interest in retail, consumer electronics, customer experience and omnichannel marketing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Dutch is strongly preferred, and French is an advantage.
- Willingness to visit retail locations within the Netherlands and, where relevant, Belgium; previous experience in retail, events or project coordination is an advantage.
What Will Help You Succeed
- You enjoy bringing structure to multiple activities and following details through from briefing to proof of execution.
- You communicate clearly, follow up proactively and know when to escape a decision to the responsible specialist or manager.
- You are curious about how online and offline retail touchpoints work together to shape the consumer experience.
