Job summary

Eastmen Human Resources B.V in the Port of Rotterdam is seeking a Truck Driver to move sea and reefer containers within the port and to construction sites nationwide. You will coordinate with the planning team and fellow drivers to ensure smooth communication and finish each shift with a clean, ready-to-use vehicle.

Requirements include a CE driving license with Code 95, at least 6 months harbour or mixer truck experience, and English at B2 level.

Responsibilities

Job description

What you will do: You will transport containers around the Port of Rotterdam or deliver concrete to various construction sites nationwide, contributing to unique projects every day. Working closely with the planning department and a supportive team of fellow drivers, you will ensure smooth communication and wrap up each day by keeping your vehicle spotless and ready for the next ride.

Main responsibilities:

• Transporting sea and reefer containers within the port area and beyond
• Delivering concrete from the batching plant to various construction sites
• Communicating trip updates with planners via the onboard computer and phone
• Staying in regular contact and collaborating with fellow drivers
• Cleaning and rinsing the concrete mixer equipment after unloading
• Maintaining the truck daily so it is spotless and ready for use

What competencies do you need?

• Experience: Minimum 6 months of relevant experience in the harbour or experience on a mixer truck
• Licenses: Valid CE driving license with Code 95 at least 9 months valid
• Fitness: Good physical condition is required
• Language: English at B2 level is required
• Citizenship: EU citizenship is mandatory

€150 bonus after 300 hours worked
