Job summary

Wolfram Chain in Friesland is seeking a CE truck driver for 3–5 day weeks with the possibility of two nights away from home. You will start early, return by 17:00, and have weekends free while driving an open flatbed trailer.

You will transport concrete, steel, and machinery, ensure loads are secured, and follow safety rules. Competitive hourly pay up to €20.24, with benefits including travel allowances under TLN cao and a pension from day one.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid CE license, Code 95 (CPC), and a digital tachograph card.
• Good command of Dutch or English.
• Willing to spend an average of two nights per week sleeping overnight in the truck.
• Available to work a minimum of 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Transporting concrete, steel, prefab materials, and agricultural machinery.
• Ensuring cargo is properly stowed, secured, and lashed.
• Advise on load securing for non-standard cargo.
• Identify and report issues with load, equipment, or waiting times to the office.
• Maintain customer contact with a service-oriented attitude.
• Comply with safety regulations and transport laws.
• Act as ambassador/representative of the company.

Job description

Do you have a valid CE license and experience as a Class 1 driver? Are you looking for a part‑time or full‑time position in the Friesland area? As a CE truck driver, you can choose a 3‑, 4‑, or 5‑day workweek. Most importantly, you genuinely enjoy working with an open trailer and are willing to spend two nights a week away from home. Functieomschrijving: As a truck driver, your workday starts between 05:00 and 06:00 AM, and you are usually back at the yard around 05:00 PM. You will work exclusively on weekdays, meaning that even with a 4‑day workweek, you will always have your weekends free. Good to know: you will spend about two nights a week sleeping in the truck and operating an open flatbed trailer.

• Transporting concrete, steel, prefab materials, and agricultural machinery.
• Ensuring the cargo is correctly stowed, secured, and lashed.
• Advising on the correct load securing methods for cargo with non‑standard dimensions.
• Identifying and reporting any issues regarding the load, equipment, or waiting, loading, and unloading times, and communicating these promptly to the office.
• Maintaining customer contact with a service‑oriented and friendly attitude.
• Strictly complying with all applicable safety regulations and transport laws.
• Handling the equipment with care and acting as the ambassador/representative of the company.
