Job summary

BMS is seeking a Senior Manager, Capital Projects within the Facility & Engineering department to lead site capital project processes, budget preparation, cost control and project execution plans for our cell therapy facility. The role oversees a diverse portfolio including equipment upgrades, productivity enhancements, facility renovations, and infrastructure upgrades to support commercial manufacturing.

Qualifications

B.S Degree in Engineering, Science or IT related discipline is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience.
Experience using Project Controls and Management tools to track metrics and KPIs.
Experience in GMP environment and delivering projects in pharmaceutical/biotechnology manufacturing.
Project Management Professional certification is preferred.
Experience leading a small team of professionals is preferred.
Experience using SAP and budgeting tools.

Responsibilities

Site responsibility for coordination of Capital and Expense project selection, justification and delivery.
Directing and monitoring project cost determination and management of CARs.
Pursuing and implementing novel project solutions and technologies with operational SMEs.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements in PM, design and construction processes.
Delivery of the CAPEX and Expense Project Portfolio.
Ensuring project teams have the right competencies and contingent workforce.
