Job summary

Vonk is hiring a Teaching Assistant for the Schagen de Boomgaard branch to guide pupils in running the healthy school canteen. You’ll work with groups of 14–16 year-olds, give clear instructions on canteen duties, HACCP and allergen rules, and track progress.

You’ll also manage stock, oversee orders and help create a safe, engaging learning environment. Mon 09:00–14:30; Fri 09:00–14:30. Schagen de Boomgaard, NL.

Qualifications

• At least a vocational education (MBO) level 4 diploma as a Teaching Assistant.
• Demonstrable experience with pupils.
• Experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
• Good pedagogical and didactic skills.
• An affinity with the target audience is an advantage.
• A first aid / emergency response certificate is an advantage.
• Knowledge of HACCP and allergen legislation.
• You are enterprising, flexible and dare to take the initiative.
• You are good at motivating and managing pupils.

Responsibilities

• Guide pre-vocational pupils aged 14–16 in running the healthy school canteen.
• Provide clear and enthusiastic instructions about canteen work including HACCP and allergens.
• Track pupil progress according to fixed schedules and encourage responsibility.
• Manage stock and orders to ensure a smoothly running canteen.
