Job summary

Netherlands Cancer Institute invites applications for a Research Technician to join the Voest Group. You will culture patient-derived tumor organoids and support projects on tumor biology, precision medicine and cancer immunology.

You will work independently and with PhD students and postdocs, contributing to experiments, data collection and analysis while developing your technical expertise in a dynamic, international setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or higher in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences or related field.
Hands-on experience with cell culture, organoid culture and molecular biology.
Strong English communication and ability to work in an international team.

Responsibilities

Culturing and maintaining patient-derived tumor organoids.
Processing and handling patient-derived tissue samples and fragments.
Performing molecular biology techniques including qPCR, transfection, lentiviral work and cloning.
Performing flow cytometry and assisting with data collection and analysis.
Supporting experiments on tumor-immune cell interactions.
Collaborating with researchers to plan, perform and optimize experiments.
Maintaining lab organization and stocks, ordering reagents when needed.
Training and supporting colleagues in techniques and protocols.
