Job summary

Cadkunde, a specialist in CAD, PDM, and ERP for manufacturing, seeks a CAD Manager to lead SolidWorks setups and PDM environments. You will implement efficient workflows, templates, and automation, connecting SolidWorks with ERP/PLM and driving continuous improvements.

You will work on customer projects, sometimes remotely, and collaborate with a skilled team. Hybrid work is possible, with regular knowledge sharing and room for growth.

Qualifications

• SolidWorks proficiency required, including modeling, assemblies, and drawings.
• Experience setting up SolidWorks PDM (Professional or Standard).
• Automation of design processes (DriveWorks, VBA, API).
• Strong interest in improving engineering processes and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages efficient SolidWorks setups, templates, and libraries.

• Analyzes existing workflows and improves them with smart tools & best practices.
• Connects SolidWorks (PDM) with other business applications such as ERP or PLM.

At Cadkunde, we help manufacturing companies design smarter, faster, and more consistently with the help of CAD, PDM, and ERP. We build smart tools, improve engineering processes, and ensure that engineers can work enjoyably and without disruptions. We specialize in the Autodesk Inventor suite and are looking for reinforcement in the world of SolidWorks: someone with extensive experience setting up SolidWorks as an admin or key user.

What are you going to do?

As CAD Manager you are responsible for implementing and improving efficient CAD and PDM solutions. You work on customer projects where you turn technical challenges into smart automation using Inventor and Vault.

You:

• Develops and manages efficient SolidWorks setups, templates, and libraries
• Helps customers set up or optimize their SolidWorks PDM environment
• Analyzes existing workflows and improves them with smart tools & best practices
• Connects SolidWorks (PDM) with other business applications such as ERP or PLM
• Works on a project basis at customers or remotely
• Works together with the team one day a week

• Simulation or rendering is a nice bonus
