Job summary

OSI Europe is seeking a Buyer (m/f/d) for our Beuningen plant to manage purchasing of raw materials, goods, and services from domestic and international suppliers. You will call off orders, organize delivery times, and maintain supplier relationships.

You will ensure accuracy of master data, monitor supplier performance, and handle complaints when deliveries don’t meet expectations. The role requires strong coordination, negotiation, and teamwork, with proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle and follow up on complaints when delivered goods do not meet expectations.
• Maintain master data related to purchasing information.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor.

What your job includes

As a Buyer, you are responsible for purchasing and calling off products, materials, and services for the factory from suppliers, manufacturers, and wholesalers both domestically and internationally. You maintain good relationships with suppliers and monitor their performance.

• Daily processing of purchase proposals and orders for raw materials and goods
• Organizing the local purchasing and ordering process
• Determining and organizing delivery times, order quantities, and order schedules
• Monitoring and checking the nature, quantity, and quality of the ordered goods
• Handling and following up on complaints when delivered goods do not meet expectations
• Maintaining master data related to purchasing-relevant information
• Performing other tasks as directed by the supervisor
