Job summary

Atos is seeking a Software Buyer to support the Benelux & Nordics region, focusing on sourcing software, SaaS, and IT services. You will collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance and Delivery to translate business needs into procurement outcomes.

The role offers exposure to complex negotiations, governance, and international teamwork, with structured learning and growth into a Senior Software Buyer position.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in procurement, IT, consulting, finance or a commercial role.
• Strong interest in technology, software and digital business models.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to work with data and structured information.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership and learn.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong asset.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Law, IT or equivalent through experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end procurement lifecycle demand intake, sourcing approach, supplier selection, contracting and renewals.
• Assist in the negotiation of software, SaaS and cloud-related agreements, focusing on value, risk and compliance.
• Work in close alignment with Sales, Legal, Finance and Risk teams, ensuring business priorities are translated into procurement outcomes.
• Provide fact-based insights on costs, contract terms and supplier performance.
• Contribute to the preparation of business cases and commercial recommendations.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, governance and audit requirements.
• Support supplier relationship management, including performance monitoring and renewal strategies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within procurement.
• Work in a multi country team.

Your Role

As a Software Buyer, you will join the regional procurement team supporting the Benelux & Nordics business. You will contribute to the sourcing and management of software, SaaS and IT services, working closely with stakeholders across Sales, Legal, Finance and Delivery.
