Project Logistics Coordinator

Royal IHC is looking for a Project Logistics Coordinator to join their team.

As the Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for planning, monitoring and arranging national and international transports. The Logistics Coordinator is a key part of the Project Logistics department, which are handling all IHC units.

Within this role as Project Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Organizing (complex) transport for all kind of modalities, including the timely provision of related documents (customs forms, invoices, packing lists and payment documents).
  • Advise on logistics aspects of tenders, L/C’s commercial agreements or complex logistics solutions.
Your profile

To be eligible for this role, you must have the following:

  • a secondary level of education (MBO)
  • several years of experience within (project) logistics
  • specialist knowledge of international transport, (complex) project shipments, related shipping documents, customs procedures / formalities and legal requirements
  • knowledge in chartering (Bimco) contracts (not a must)
  • negotiation skills and feeling comfortable with high value projects/shipments
  • the ability to keep calm and keep an overview on the large variety of projects and orders
  • a proactive, hands‑on and flexible approach
  • the ability to take the initiative and come up with ideas to improve our processes
  • excellent communication skills in English and Dutch, both verbal and written
  • an EU work visa
  • VCA certificate
