Job description

Within APG Asset Management’s COO Data Office, you will help strengthen data delivery by improving the data operating model, simplifying data architecture, and supporting the shared Data Platform. The COO Data Office strives for a competitive edge in data delivery so that data is at APG AM’s fingertips. Its objective is to enhance APG AM's data operating model, simplify the data architecture, and leverage best practices. This not only brings data under governance, but also optimizes data delivery and distribution through a shared Data Platform where CIO-CMI, CIO-PMI, and COO can compute, transform, and obtain data faster and more simply.

\

The Data Office has overarching responsibility for data policies and architecture, the enterprise data model, the data management operating model, and data frameworks. It oversees all data-related activities at APG AM, ranging from ingestion, transformation, storage, and processing to implementation for consumption. Technically, this is achieved by realizing data pipelines on the data platform that adhere to architecture standards and principles. The high standards and robust implementation make the Data Office a strong provider of information products that must comply with high quality standards, for example for client reporting or formal performance reporting.

\

The Data Sourcing & Distribution team focuses on onboarding key data domains onto the platform, distributing data, improving data availability and discoverability for users, and capturing information about available data in the Data Shop. The team also monitors whether the necessary data for use cases is available on the platform, with key data domains as the main focus, and designs and implements processes and systems to ensure data is distributed efficiently and flows freely through the various layers to users.
