Job summary

ONERWAY is establishing a new Dutch entity to expand its credit offering in the Netherlands. The Consumer Credit Risk Manager will join the board as a statutory director and lead risk governance, credit-risk framework, and regulatory readiness for AFM licensing.

The role requires deep consumer-credit risk expertise, governance experience, and the ability to align risk with commercial strategy while satisfying AFM suitability assessments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading consumer-credit licence applications to AFM or similar regulators.
• Deep consumer-credit risk expertise and governance experience.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical risk policies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a board member and day-to-day policymaker for risk in the Dutch entity.
• Lead the design of the consumer-credit risk framework, policies and governance.
• Oversee credit-risk strategy, affordability reviews, portfolio monitoring and arrears management.
• Prepare and support AFM licensing submissions for consumer credit.
• Provide training and guidance on responsible lending and risk controls.
